Can You Save Time and Money by Outsourcing Your Pay Per Click Campaign? Part 1 of 2

Search-Engine-MarketingImage by Danard Vincente via Flickr

By Christopher Ulrich

One of the largest challenges with Internet Marketing is operating a successful pay per click advertising campaign. Competition is fierce and the costs to advertise at Google are steadily climbing.

In this article we are going to review several of the factors that you should look at when deciding whether or not to outsource your pay per click campaign.

1. Search Marketing Expertise

(It should be stated that you are|Obviously you are an expert in your industry. You are growing your company based on your knowledge and skills and have achieved a certain level of success. That, however, does not make you an expert at search engine marketing. While you may know your business inside and out, the marketing strategies required to successfully promote on Google are a totally different issue.

Search Marketing/PPC advertising is a very specialized form of advertising. Strategies that worked justsix months ago are no longer effective. The search engines change as fast as the stock market and if you lack the knowledge to create a profitable pay-per-click campaign, you will overpay for clicks and amidst tremendous opportunities.

2. Keyword Selection

For years, our company has run campaigns with large amounts of keywords. All the way back in 2001, we developed campaigns with up to one million keywords. No one had heard of "long-tail keywords" and no one was developing large keyword lists. Today, the industry has changed. Many people have built tremendously extensive campaigns to the point that long-tail strategies had to change.

Due to search restrictions you can no longer bid on every keyword you can imagine. To be successful in search, you need a strategy that casts a net that is surgically targeted to specific services, products and audiences. Unless you know what to do to develop these keyword lists, you will very likely put yourself on the highest cost, high traffic, low converting keywords that are out there. To be able to research and locate the right keywords at the right cost is a critical skill in developing a successful campaign.

3. Tracking Capabilities

Prior to search, companies used newspaper, print, radio and TV ads that were hard to track. The Internet changed all that, making most actions highly accountable. To be successful today in search you have to implement a system to track all actions; otherwise, how will you know what worked? Let's say you are tracking, what will you do with that data?

4. Optimization Algorithms

Optimization systems / search optimization algorithms are the computerized systems that analyze the data you capture, evaluate the actual success on the individual keywords, and make determinations as to which keywords should be bid higher, lower or eliminated completely. This needs to be a systems driven task to analyze the number of keywords required to maximize the results of your search campaign.

In the next part, we will be examining development costs, ROI analysis, how much time it takes to be successful and the learning curve involved in operating a successful PPC program.

The instructions on how to research and find your niche come in many forms such as how-to's, guides and advice columns. Entire websites and blogs have been started that are completely dedicated to speaking about the subject of niches. When you search on Amazon for books on the subject you will find over 100,000 books to select from. Searching on Google for information on the subject of niches will give you 32,000,000+ selections.

Here's a different take on the subject that you may feel relieved to find out about. What if your niche market came to you instead of you trying to chase the potential clients down?

This tactic really works! One only need to understand one important datum about the internet to see how it works, people turn to online sources to find information. You wold only need to deliver what is being looked for in order to get the correct people to find you.

Getting your name out there on the internet on a consistent basis while supplying good, informative information is the key to your success. Press releases, blog posts and articles are the main items to focus on.

Your Hidden Secret To Online Success Is Building Relationships

A southbound view of Granville Street, DowntownImage via Wikipedia

By Logan Granville

If you've been doing business on the internet for any time at all, you know that creating an income is extremely difficult.

The bottom line is this . . . it's virtually impossible to build an online income if your marketing campaign is missing one critical element. In fact, an estimated 97% of all online marketers never make a penny because their marketing campaign is missing this critical element.

This critical component is literally the difference between no income at all and thousands of dollars each and every month. This component is the life-blood of any online business.

If you have already made this component an integral part of your marketing campaign, you know how valuable it is to your business. And, you're probably making more money every month than most people make in an entire year.

What is this necessary component and what makes it so critical?

This component is relationship building.

You may be wondering what relationship building has to do with your internet business. The answer is this, relationship building has everything to do with your internet business. Without it, your business would not exist.

Think about this for a moment . . . when you make a purchase, who do you purchase from? Somebody you trust, right? Somebody you feel comfortable doing business with. Somebody you know will make things right if there's a problem.

Does it make good business sense to purchase from somebody you don't trust? No, why take a chance with your money?

Trust and confidence are even more critical on the internet. You can't sit down and visit face to face with your potential customers, they can't get to know you. The internet is very impersonal, all business is transacted through a website and email.

How do you project trust and confidence to your prospects over the impersonal internet?

You send them lots of free, valuable information before you ever ask for the sale. You let them know you have their best interest in mind. You show them you are more interested in helping them than you are in taking their money. Then, when you ask for a sale, your prospects will know you are offering something of with real value.

An excellent method for creating trust and confidence in your prospects is to create a newsletter. It can be a short 10-message newsletter, or it can be a full blown newsletter that goes out every week, or every month. You can set everything up in an autoresponder so the messages go out automatically.

If you possess the talent and the time to write your own newsletter, you can do that. An alternative is to find talented people to produce your newsletter. You can find very inexpensive newsletter sources by doing a search for newsletters.

Once you generate trust and confidence in your potential customers, you'll find them following you wherever you go.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - JANUARY 31: (FILE PHOTO) ...Image by Getty Images via Daylife

By Sean Galusha

Whether a small business wants to venture into marketing their product in the internet or an existing online business wants to be successful, they both need to work on increasing the traffic to their websites. The more site visitors they have, the more chances that the business will be successful.

Letting people know that the business exist is crucial to be successful in this business venture. There are different ways to increase traffic to a website and one of them is known as search engine optimization.

What this means is that the keywords related to the website should be properly placed all over the web pages so that it can gain a higher ranking in search engine results. This can however, be a bit expensive. A cheaper and sometimes better way to increase a website's traffic is to make use of Google Adwords.

Google is one of the most popular web search engines in the world. By placing links here, the small business or internet business website will increase traffic in no time.

This allows businesses to bid for keywords and post links to Google. When these links are clicked, the online surfer then will be redirected to the business' website. It is only when an online user clicks on the link that businesses will pay for the advertising cost. This is the pay per click arrangement. This is not only done in Google but also done by other websites too.

In Google Adwords, the business can determine how effective are its keywords, or how effective is its campaign in getting traffic to its website.

When placing links in other websites, one should be careful and choose wisely. He or she should only go with websites that are also related to the business because if not, the chances are the people who visit that website are not interested in your advertisement. This is the beauty of using Adwords. The link or advertisement to your website becomes available to the internet surfer if that person searches for your keyword.

PPC advertising like Google Adwords indeed is a cheap and reliable way of getting traffic online and this could be what small businesses need in making that business successful.

Free Advertising through Article Writing

Illustration of a scribe writingImage via Wikipedia

by Paul Garnett

The best things in life are free as what many people say. This is also true with online marketing. Although there are some who skeptic about the quality of free advertising techniques, still there are a lot who believe in the effectiveness of free advertising.

They may not be totally free, but what a small amount of penny for an overwhelming web traffic? That's just as good as free. So, if you're not a skeptic one, dig in to these free advertising techniques.

One of the most popular methods of advertising is the article marketing. This technique is very famous nowadays and there's a good reason for it.

Article writing is popular because it does not cost you anything. The only thing you need to do is write original articles that provide online users with general information about something that concerns your product. However, there are rules that need to be followed. Articles should not discuss specifics of your product.

Content submission sites which accept your articles for free only allow articles that are written with general information. They often reject articles that talk about the specifics of your business or the product. If you are selling acne products, you cannot submit articles that talk about your brand. You can however write articles about the causes and symptoms of acne or its treatment options.

You are not allowed to sell your product in the body of the article because you are given a resource box at the bottom that will contain the link to your website. This is why it is important to write interesting articles so that your readers will be interested to know more of your business and click your link.

Your main goal here is for your articles to appear whenever a visitor searches for a particular keyword. There is a standard keyword density for every article length, so research on this if you are planning to use to article marketing for your business.

Article writing indeed is one wise way to promote your business without thinking about big advertising costs. If your website needs a boost in site visitors and potential customers, you may want to give it a good push by submitting articles to free submission sites.

Who says free advertising is ineffective? If you can maximize the potentials of these methods, it could even give you better results than the costly ones.

Creating a Passive Income Opportunity Online

Late Night, Red Eyes.Image by Adam Schilling via Flickr

by Francisco Rodriguez

Passive income opportunity on the internet is probably one of the most written about subjects. It could possibly be called a dream more than a reality for the simple reason that most people misrepresent what passive income actually is. It is thought that a passive income generating system is one that you do not have to work in order to have success. This is simply not true. A passive income opportunity is one where you consistently must work to place relevant and original content on the pages of the internet thereby driving traffic to the passive income site and hopefully will make sales. When considering building a passive income opportunity there are many points to consider before joining.

Robert Allen multiple streams of income is a subject on many people's minds, nowadays. One of the ways to do so with little or no additional effort on your part is to develop lines of passive income. Passive income is that which doesn't depend directly on your efforts. It continues to arrive once you have set up the channels with little additional effort. Finding the right passive income opportunity can require some research, but most people believe it to be worth the effort. Further, it rarely requires much financial investment in order to start receiving the financial benefits.

If having your own residual income business appeals to you, a little bit of knowledge and a whole lot of drive, is all you need. With every residual income opportunity, there needs to be
A product or service that people need and want A step by step, PROVEN system that is so easy to follow, even your pet dog could implement the techniques. Support and materials, online, offline, or indeed both. History, I would never enter an passive income opportunity without a history of other people being successful with the company. In a new business, I know someone's got to be the crash test dummy, call me selfish, but I'll leave that part to someone else. The opportunity to earn as much money as your heart desires.

If the opportunity checks all these boxes, you just need to ask yourself a few questions~ Am I going to do what it takes to succeed? Have I got the desire to succeed? Why do I want to succeed, are my reasons strong enough? Will I stumble and fall at the first hurdle, or will I pick my self up and carry on with relentless determination? Do I really want to change my life and live the life of my dreams?
