Many people find it somewhat challenging to find Halloween makeup recipes. Every year there are millions of people going online to see what they can find in order to create their own scary look.

But why would they not just go buy some at the local department store? The reason is because it would cost too much for many people. A simple small tube of fake blood can cost four dollars. While it may not seem like a lot of money, these tiny bottles do not go very far which means you really would be spending a lot more in the end, especially if an entire family needs their Halloween makeup done.

This is where I can help you with a few ideas for easy Halloween recipes for makeup. If you want to stand out at your Halloween party this year you will find his recipe ideas will be very beneficial. The benefit of creating these items for yourself is that you can make these in balk and possibly make a tiny little profit by selling them to family members, coworkers and friends and possibly even on eBay.

Since weve been discussing fake blood we will start with this recipe first. This recipe is actually one of the most popular and easy Halloween recipes for makeup that individuals can create for this Halloween season.

The first step is to gather all of your ingredients and supplies. You will need a bowl for mixing, storage containers for the completed makeup, measuring spoons, corn syrup, and food coloring.

Add two tablespoons of water, 3 drops of blue food coloring, ten drops of yellow food coloring, and seventy drops of red food coloring. Mix these ingredients together.

After you have mixed all of those items together you will want to slowly add in the corn syrup until you have reached the desired consistency. This may mean using a little more or a little less of the corn syrup depending on your needs.

A lot of people want to start with a base face paint while they are creating their Halloween costume look. Halloween's most common colors for the base colors are usually black and green. There are several Halloween recipes for makeup that are very easy that you can use for a base.

First pick out the color you want your base makeup to be and get that color in food coloring and set that aside. Mix two tablespoons of cornstarch and one teaspoon of shortening. Once those are mixed you can add in the color you picked out. Add the coloring slowly as you mix everything together. Continue to add the coloring until you have reached the exact color that you want for your Halloween makeup.
